Sprouts are germinated with water (no soil) and have a harvest window of 4-6 days. The sprout is harvested with the seed still attached; they often become a breeding ground for some nasty bacteria. Because of this, more food safety regulations are in place for sprout production.

Easy to push and maneuver inside hoophouses and greenhouses. Ideal for baby-leaf greens, spinach, mesclun mixes, and herbs. Fully adjustable cutting height, conveyor belt angle, and winnower speed allow for harvesting a variety of crop sizes. A simple pull-cord depresses the drill trigger for smooth, easy operation. Rear-mounted collection bag opens from the side for easy removal of harvested greens. Made in France by Terrateck. NOTE: Powered by a standard cordless drill (not included).
